Great forest preserve with a lot of open space! Trails are crushed limestone so be prepared to bring a spare pair of shoes. You will get messy. The trail is well maintained and was a moderately challenging run!

Beautiful scenery and easy to walk trails. I usually prefer forests to prairies for my walks, but this place is absolutely gorgeous and pretty big. Wear a sun hat.

Beautiful prarie setting featuring a 6 mile trail loop. The wide, crushed limestone trail was in great shape and is perfect for hiking, running, or biking. The trail loops around the prarie with stunning views. There's a really nice overlook of the prarie on the hill near the model aircraft field. There's two entrances, plenty of parking, and restrooms available.

Fantastic 6 mile small gravel trail for walking, jog, running, cycling, etc. You can park off of 83rd or Plainfield / Naperville Rd that's marked asc parking for the small aircraft field. I like that you don't have to turn around or change things up to get in more steps / distance. It's not the woods (for viewing pleasure) or shaded, so for some you may want to go later in the day on hot / high UV index days. Good for some backwards walking as well :)

A great long trail, there are moderate hills in places, and the whole trail is gravel. There is a dog park and a small craft field for model airplanes. Very scenic and beautiful
