Update: Someone thought it was a good idea to bring aggressive dogs to the dog park and my dog got attacked. Luckily she was only bleeding from a spot on her ear but it would have been worse. If your dogs are aggressive, they do not need to be in a dog park with other dogs. Original: The dog park is nice, but the amount of dog poop all over is disgusting. People PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG!. Also left a nice water bowl for the dogs to drink out of and someone stole it. Very disappointed. The idea is nice, but someone always has to ruin it.
Every time I come to visit BC I stopp here for my pups! Love that they have refillable bowls, and they have toys that you can play with your dogs and then just put them back when you’re done. The only disturbed thing is some people are not picking up after their dog.
This is a nice dog park. Unfortunately, this is the most disgusting dog park I have ever taken my dogs!!! everytime I have went almost always there are the same people with multiple Big dogs that just stand and literally watch their dogs Poop and don't nothing to pick it up!!! The place is full of dog shit! Why are these people do nasty! Is there a fine???? Why is this allowed? There are several post with doggy bags FREE!!! Nasty Nasty Nasty
It is a decent place to be in, but many irresponsible dog owners come here and will not pick up after their dog. Also a couple big holes where they allow their dog to dig but not refill the holes back up and they're deep.
I think that the Dog Park in Springfield has been a great success ! I believe that everyone that has been to the park is extremely pleased that we have it in our neighborhood ! The only issue that I have experienced is of the one's that use the park for their Dogs personal poop dump . If your going to utilize the grounds PLEASE ! clean up after your animals ! If you don't , at some point the grounds will become contaminated and then it will become off grounds for everyone . So let's all of us play nicely together . P. S. There are always clean up bags at the park ! Roy
