We had a celebration for my husband who recently passed away. We had balloons that we sent off to honor him. It went.perfecrly.

Not that fond of the dog park. It's mostly hay and dirt, unless it rains, in which case it's a little bit of grass and some mud puddles. Of course that doesn't bother the dogs and it really doesn't bother me too much. I just wear the correct footwear. What I object to is that many people don't pick up after their dogs and that seems to be an accepted practice there. You can smell the dog park poop from the car in the parking lot, and you have to really watch your step. However, Steele Indian School Park itself, just outside the dog park gates, is a beautiful park with many walking paths and greenery and trees and places to sit and a playground among other things. Of course you have to have your dog leashed, but I prefer to walk there then inside the dog park.

Great park.. Even though it's in a tougher part of town. Lots of friendly people and dogs. Could use one or two more trash cans and another park bench or two. Overall a great time.. And the regulars seem pretty cool, even regulated an aggressive dog and owner. Closest to home and a surprise move place. Enter off seventh street just north of Indian school. Easy to miss the entrance.

Had a great time. Took my tiny dogs in the big dog park because I took them to be social.... All of the dogs were amazing and welcoming..
