Nice urban preserve. Very quiet and relaxing despite being adjacent to a very busy Costco. Great place for a walk with the dog along a the paved trails — although the trails are a bit short. Google directions somewhat funky since we has to enter and park in the Costco lot.

One of my favorite places in Citrus Heights. I got a lot of great ideas from the drought resistant garden they put in. I bring my dog here often and he likes to walk here and check everything out. There is a wooden bridge that crosses over a wetlands area. At the end of the bridge you will run into Van Maren park, another beautiful spot. I was walking with some friends from Folsom and they remarked how quiet and peaceful it was and how much busier the nature trails close to them were. Highly recommended.

Nice place to walk around. Surprising location (right behind a Costco!) so it's easy to miss.

This place is the best Citrus Heights California has to offer nature-ish-wise. Its a nice little Nature walk for sure;although, parts of it are kinda garbage-y,because that to be expected given the decay of our civilization. But it's definitely worth the time and it's right next door to Costco and Costco rocks!
