Beautiful little hike the overlooks Broad and Orcutt as well as S. Higuera, once you reach the top! Great hike for kids as young as 4, and there's a perfect picnic area with tables, grass, and a half-court basketball court.
Paths of rock and dirt with short climbs to great views.
Great little hike just over half mile to the ridge. Great time of year as everything is green and blooming. Nice bench at top for rest and reflection.
A good dog park with basketball court on Bluerock Rd. Near the entrance to the San Luis Obispo Open Space "South Hills Trailhead" It's the Brickyard Center Side. Businesses in the area include Crystal Springs Water .
Park itself is very small but there are many trails to explore. Beautiful place to watch the sunset if you're up for a hike. Did see a mountain lion last time we were there, so be careful and keep your pets close to you.
