Gorgeous!!! This is such a cool park with amazing vibes and views. We really enjoyed walking here with our dog while visiting Charleston. The restrooms are clean, they offer dog bags and they have a drinking fountain for both human and pooch which is nice.

This is a nice little park along the Stono River. Very accessible and easy to explore. The walking path is wide with the first 1/3 asphalt. The second 1/3 is composite decking on a raised boardwalk. The final portion is dirt/crushed gravel. With the exception of the boardwalk it is shaded and most of what is visible is marsh until you get to the end where the river is visible but not accessible. Worn and clearly well used, nicely maintained and clean. Great place for a relaxing stroll.

No railing, so you have to watch yourself. I wouldn't recommend children who don't listen 😳. A very nice walk around.

Love this place. I utilize this park for.a traffic break . The restrooms are amazing always. There id an air pump, phone charging station, filtered water for dog, bottle and fountain. Its never overcrowded . You can walk to the little islands along the water and marsh. Diverse plants and trees. Found musketballs a couple times. Hosrory of battlea as we know are all around our area.

Beautiful short 1.5 mile round trip on asphalt, small gravel, board walk. Takes you to an island on the stono river. Dog and bike friendly. Recommended to anyone that enjoys nature walks.
