Great playground with swings, plenty of slides, plenty of grassy areas to play, a doggy park on the other side of the parking lot, and a seasonal pool (I haven't visited it so I can't comment on quality). But we love the playground area, very clean and accessible bathrooms.

My extended family held a celebration of life gathering here. A picnic shelter was rented for a nominal fee. There was adequate shade, drinking fountains and indoor restrooms, as well as horseshoe pits, a baseball diamond, and dog park. This is a very well-maintained and bucolic setting that I highly recommend for your next outdoor gathering.

Easy & accessible from Franklin Rd going east or if you're coming down Main St. going south. It's main parking lot is tiny but Storey Park shares parking with Meridian Pool as well. Overflow parking, which is sometimes pay-to-park, is available when there are larger events. Great park for all! Has a pavilion with ample seating. Restrooms just a short walk across from pavilion. We came here for Meridian Dairy Days in June and yesterday, for Meridian Monday Night Market.

While passing by Boise on the way to Washington, pick up some food from the many restaurants on the boulevard and have a nice picnic at Storey Park. Let the kids run around to get their wiggles out before filling up with gas and hitting the road again. In August, the 86 degree weather made this a perfect place to stop and play!
