Three dog parks here at Boorman Trail. One for small pups only, one for big pups only, and the theirs for dogs of all sizes. The big pup park is by far the most popular. We have a group of regulars who have become friends because they frequent the park so often. It is wide open for dogs to run and play, and the owners have really friendly dogs. Today, though, I brought our two to the Stragent Dog Park, a more secluded and wooded park on the Boorman Trail with good fences and a water fountain for all species. 😉 It’s a bit smaller than the big puppy park adjacent to it, but offers some new turf for your pups to find new smells and run and play with a nice share campy if oak trees above. Molly and Ginger seemed to enjoy their time here just as much as the other park. So give it a try!

My pupper absolutely loves this place. We drive over from Marshall and there's been at least another dog there for her to play with. There's a large and small dog area when you first walk up. The small dog area is basically just a dog run. It's not as good as the bigger dog area, but all of this is free, so you can't really complain. The bigger dog area is a gigantic open field and there are some agility things there. If you walk past the two fields there is an all inclusive wooded field that you can take any sized dog to. It's shaded and more woodsy. The only negative I can say about this place is the larger field seems to have some drainage issues, but again it's free to bring your dog here so it's not that big of a deal. It's not a bad drainage issue, just takes a day or two for it to get dry. I'm attaching a couple of pictures of the different areas. Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Very nice. I am from our of town and was trying to find a way to kill two hours before we could check into our hotel and this popped up for a place that's dog friendly because we had our four legger with us and we can't just leave her in the car because it's too hot. Found this place and it's beautiful. Wish it was in Humble though haha.
