Wide open spaces which are an ideal place to get away for a sunny afternoon. This beautiful park also has a dog park for your four legged family member. It also has plenty of parking, a playground, and a small pond. Thirty-eight acres to fulfill the pleasures of all outdoors persons!

Biggest dog park I have ever seen. Plenty of room for dogs to run around. There is a dog park for little dogs and a dog park for bigger dogs. There is a wooden path near the park too. Plenty of parking.

Small and big dogs areas, beautiful grass, fresh water fountains for humans and the puppers! Very clean, nice trees 🌳

Excellent! There's an agility course complete with ramp, tunnel, and balancing log and lots of room to run! Nicely fenced in with a separate area for smaller dog friends. Large pavilion with picnic tables for shade, and kiddie pools for splash happy doggos.

When you have a pup with a small or unfenced yard, Stuart Park’s dog park area is a nice place to land. Stuart is the only dog park I’ve visited in Springfield - when I compare it to dog parks I’ve visited in other towns and states, it’s not what I would consider a “nice” dog park. The covered area with the picnic tables could use a little tlc. The water spout and water fountain for the pups is great. The one spot that is most aggravating - is the side of the covered area where the tree stumps were removed. The remaining sections of stumps that are just sitting on the ground are rotting and should be removed and the soil where the rotted trees were along the covered area is becoming a sinkhole, holds water, and is really a STF injury waiting to happen due to the foot traffic from the pups. I have personally witnessed more than one dog v dog incident because of whatever they love about that hole - it would be nice to have that dug out to the bottom of the root system, then backfilled properly. Overall, good vibe, friendly pets and people, and good enough for some puppy leg stretching
