It’s not just a dog park. There is separate areas for small dogs and big dogs, also thanks for people like Pickleball courts. Areas for big kids or little kids. Each place has equipment according to their age. It is a hidden gem. I had been to the beautiful Soccer fields baseball field skate park but but I had never driven around the other side to this area of the park. It is really close to the Cedar River Trail.

4 acres (?) rectangle, 75% dirt and 25% wooded, 4ft fence in excellent condition. Two poop cans, one bench (?). In a larger complex next to a pickle ball court, children’s playground, athletic fields, restrooms and high school. Spacious parking for the whole complex, good number in front of the dog park/pickle ball/kids playground. There were no dogs when we were there on an early Saturday evening, sky was gray and it started raining. Great if your dog likes to play fetch or run circles, otherwise not very stimulating. All facilities appear pretty new.

The park is basically sand and mud / dirt. The parking lot was a little difficult to find. Large area for the pups to mingle, run and play! Consider walking to/from the park if you’re able to.

Lots of friendly pups and responsible owners. Water and multiple dishes available. Tennis balls all over. Clean and super well kept. Clean restrooms close by.

Update - sometime in the past couple of months they fenced off a portion of the dog park and made a separate small dog area. Good news for those of you with little dogs that aren't comfortable around bigger dogs. Great dog park with open sand and grass areas, along with a short trail through the woods at the south end of the park. There are some specific spots that get muddy if there has been rain recently, but those are easy to steer your dog away from. The parking situation is terrible though, as there aren't many spots and the ones that are there are pretty narrow. If you have a larger vehicle you'll want to park in the bigger lot by the sports fields and take the short walk over.
