Sunset Park

This park is great for kids and older ones to do walks and paved walking trail loops for kids to use bikes or walks. It has everything. 2 half Basketball courts, disc golf, splash pad, small and large shaded playground. Lots of climbing swivels, spinning, teeter totter and swings. A soccer area enclosed with bkeachers. A large snake to climb and a dog park . Two bathroom areas on opposite ends and 2 playgrounds one each end.. also resealable picnic areas.

It's clean and they have playground equipment for younger kids. They have multiple play areas and multi use fields. The fields were being maintained while we were there. It's a nice park where lots of children and parents meet.

This is a delightful Park! It was sparkling clean on every visit. Beautifully maintained grounds and interesting features. Nice walking paths and plenty of kid-friendly and pet-friendly areas! The giant snake is a great photo opportunity don't miss it!

My family and I visited this park yesterday evening and we really enjoyed it here! It’s very clean & spacious. I love that there are two playgrounds; one for older kids and the other is shaded and designed with little kids in mind. So, both of my toddler and 2 older kids were able to enjoy both playgrounds. There were several parties going on so just a little crowded at the playgrounds at first but that was ok. Love that there are so many cool amenities for the entire family to enjoy from 2 sets of playgrounds, dog park, open fields, the splash pad, baseball field, basketball courts, swings, walking trail, volleyball & so much more! There’s plenty of sitting & eating areas; such a great place to host a family gathering at Sunset park. Looks like the splash pad is under maintenance but hopefully, we can come back to play in the water soon. We will definitely be visiting this park again.

Such a beautiful park! It is a lot bigger than it looked in photos to me, with plenty of grass, some kind of outdoor sports arena, playground with splash pad, restrooms, and beautiful views of the hills of San Marcos! I spent a Sunday afternoon here and had a blast! The only thing I noticed that needs improvement is the parking situation; on Easter there was no parking left and people were parking in red zones.
