My husky just loves this park. She wasn't much of a water dog until I took her here. Now she loves running through the water with the other dogs. It's a nice walk about a mile to the upper area. plenty of room for dogs to run and play.

Tanner is a good off leash area for a fun walk. But be careful as dogs can get into the many (too many) fenced off areas, my Malinois got behind a 6' fence and got hurt climbing out. There are only trash cans at the entrance, be prepared to see lots of poop and bags of poop.

Tanner park is so fun! Me and my oldest went when he was young and now me and my 4 year old go and he loves "hiking" it's a super simple hike for kid, along the dog trail and there is a little water spot at the end to play in! It's really fun! And could be a day of fun honestly without going high up into the mountains and doing a hard hike and having your kid want to sleep halfway threw! Annnd you can take your dogs, so yeah it's cool! Definitely recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Tanner Park. It's such a huge area for your dogs to run and play and get in the water. Lots of people and other friendly dogs. You can hike all over and all the way down to the creek. Just make sure you pick up after your pups. It's a beautiful place and easyly accessible right in the city. Your dogs will love it!
