Rode my bicycle through 4 of the 5 parks connected by the Louisville Loop. I was worried it might be noisy and big city sights. I was pleasantly proved wrong. This was a beautiful ride through the parks. The trail is well marked, with numerous trailheads to access the trail. Cyclists, hikers, walkers were all using the trail. Plenty of CLEAN, well maintained bathrooms at the trailheads. Make sure to stop and read about the history of the area at the Trailheads.

The best place to spent quality time with friends and family, the park is too clean and a lists of play stations for kids. A lots of free parking. 😊

We only had time to ride a 6 mile section in the middle, but The Louisville Loop is THE BEST BIKE PATH IN THE WORLD. I would give it 50 stars if I could. It is excessively wide, wonderfully smooth, and comes with many cool bridges over the scenic river. And best of all, it felt like I was riding downhill, BOTH ways! 😆

What a beautiful park! There are great open spaces, access to trails and natural areas, and a dog park. There are parking lots spaced throughout, making it convenient to get in and get to relaxing quickly. There is a HUGE open lawn with a trail around it. It's perfect for just about anything from laying out, playing catch, flying kites, having a picnic, and so much more. There's sooooooo much room. If you like having wife open spaces and access to some other park amenities, the Parklands is perfect.

Huge, beautiful park with miles of paved and unpaved trails. Great place for social distancing with numerous creek access points, bike riding, walking, jogging, canoeing/kayacking, fishing ... Take your fur baby for a walk then have a picnic!
