Really nice park. I usually go for walks. Needs more lighting systems for the nights in certain places. Also, security or someone watching for the animals. Signs clearly state not to feed the animals, and I've seen people feeding them and playing in the lake with electronic toys. They don't realize this is their habitat, and they deserve respect. Also, avoid accidents or animal attacks.

This is the correct place if you're looking for a peaceful space inside the town. Also, if you want to walk or run, here you can do it. You can enjoy the quiet, the calm and a beautiful experience in contact with the nature.

Definite mood boosting experience! This is a "big little park" lol, and is scenic with a lake, a nice trail for exercise, strolling, benches for relaxation, a small humble museum, playground, a pavilion with grill for barbecuing, and a mix of birds 🐦 like geese, egrets, ducks, even feral chickens 🐔 lol as well as iguanas. As a DJ in Miami for Weddings and Events, many don't realize the stress sometimes associated with this line of work as well as life in general. You probably have stressers of your own whether business or personal. This is a great place to come and relax, enjoy nature, get some natural vitamin D (sunlight), and more. Slow down and enjoy. It's also very clean, safe, and well maintained. Highly recommend you visit! Grateful to Miami Dade County for a job well done here, and for providing parks like this one.

Small and safe. The families are honest. Water and a playground. Tables all around the lake. One shelter for parties. A building for bathrooms by the playground. A path by the lake goes all the way around.

I really like this park's track. There's a playground for kids and a lake in the middle, but the track is less than a mile and so it's not perfect for long distance walking or huge variety. However, the park has tons of birds, including a flock of ibis and it's clear that bird lovers come here. People generally maintain their distance here. One time, a kid on a scooter was flying past everyone, but other times it's just people walking and taking it easy. The park closes at sunset, important to note so you don't drive here for nothing. They have bathrooms! Though it's called Women's Park, that is related to women's history on display. Sometimes it has more men than women.
