Perfect sized park. I have lived near many including Central Park which is so oversized it isn’t what a park was meant to be. Third Ward is right-sized - big enough for lots of people but not oversized, and never too full. It is physically beautiful with fall foliage and cherry blossoms the highlight! It is well maintained, has a variety of landscapes and an excellent playground and a food concession well stocked. Also bathrooms that are clean! I love this place!

Third Ward Park is such a beautiful, relaxing spot in the heart of Passaic. The lake with its fountains is a real highlight and makes for a lovely backdrop for a walk. The playground is modern and great for kids, and having accessible restrooms on-site is very convenient. A solid 4-star destination for a peaceful afternoon!

I really enjoy this park — it's so clean and beautiful! I love taking walks there, and the boathouse is simply charming. It’s a wonderful spot to grab some snacks or enjoy a relaxing lunch.

This is a really cute park with several shaded areas to lay out a blanket and relax with a picnic or let the kids blow off some steam. One thing I noticed is that people leave their trash everywhere. Wrappers, take out containers, bottles of water, etc. It was disappointing because besides that, it was lovely.
