Thompson Park Dog Park

Most people are friendly and the space is large enough to have a game of fetch with many dogs at once. There are trees in the back for shade and somewhere for the dogs to wander around. There a poop bags and garbage cans although when people get talking they are prone to miss when they’re dog poops. Advice:: always pick up your dogs poop!!! (And possibly another pile or two)Or yours may be stepping in poop and bringing it to your house! This is the catch with any dog park.

A nice dog park. There is an area for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs (under 25 lbs). There are plenty of benches and shaded areas. You do need to watch where you walk because some owners don't pick up after their dogs.

Decent park for the dogs. Good mix of sun and tree cover. Water source outside of the gates. Several people were not mindful about picking up after their dog or keeping them on leash outside the fenced area.

You will always find other dogs to play with your. Two separate areas for large and small breeds. Clean and plenty of shaded areas with benches.
