Thompson Park Off-Leash Dog Area

I've been going here for years! Best park. You will also meet interesting people with a very diverse amount of dog breeds. Highly recommend. Just make sure your dog is friendly!!!

Plenty of parking. Plenty of signs when you enter the park to understand which parking lot to park in for the dog park. The park has water drinking station, bags, very secure fencing for entering and exiting the dog park. Very large space for big dogs. Smaller space for the small dogs but still plenty of running room for them. It wasn’t overly crowded. All the dogs owners were nice and responsible. Will be using this place moving forward. We can hike then take the dogs to the dog park to run off lease. Everyone goes home nice and tired.

I’ve been coming to this park with my 5 pound Yorkie on and off for about a year now and today was the first time where I was told that I had to put a leash on my dog in the park and I have never been told that I had to put a leash on especially while she’s playing in the open field

Awesome space!! Only thing was the grass needs to be mowed pretty badly. Other than that- can't wait to bring my German shepherd puppy back- she had a blast!
