The Large Dog Park is great!!! Of course its a little more dirt than grass, but my dog ran until she couldn't run anymore!!

I'm completely lost why so many people are complaining about homeless people on drug addicts everywhere but do nothing about it. It's your community. Take it back. Strength in numbers. No one will help you, so you have to help yourself. Like it used to be.

I'm from out of town I was wanting a place to let my dog run, fenced in and that they do have that. It could be really nice the grass was halfway up to my knee, make a long story short it's not the best kept park I've been to It can be really really nice for your four-legged friends if they keep up the maintenance.I I visited on a Saturday morning, and there was still leftover people from Friday night. Absolutely not a place to let your kids run and play!!!!! Despite the nice kids playground!! ******Edit/update on 8/2021. Made another visit this time on a Saturday morning what a big difference, Grass was very well maintained and there was no questionable people around which made for very nice morning with my dogs. I knew this park could be as good as it was today WTG 👍👍 and thanks!!!!! Roanoke County

Dog park, play ground, picnic shelter, and parking lot. Conveniently located just off Route 460, near Vinton/Roanoke. Food and Gas nearby. Daytime hours are fine; avoid at night.

Wide open space for the dogs to run. Some dirt, but mostly good ground cover. Separate areas for large and small dogs. Poo bags and dog water fountain on site
