Beautiful park that is kept up nice and clean. The playground was big and full of fun options for the kids. Lots of open space that was well manicured. There were lots of trees that gave shade and that was important the day we were there. A nice little stream with ducks was fun for the kids and the adults. I would highly recommend the park.

Nice large park with a huge enclosed dog run, pond, ducks, shade and picnic benches. They have Huge bbq's that would be great for a group.

Timberlinn Park has multiple stones and walls recognizing those who served for our country. A newer playground, tables. Bathrooms, and running water. Event areas and is very green and full of wildlife, softball fields, fishing and much more. It's beautiful. Events happen there just call Linn County Parks or City of Albany to set-up.

I have been coming to this park for nearly two decades and love it just as much as an adult as I did when I was a small child. Just yesterday I spent 3 or so hours on a blanket just enjoying the breeze and sun while working on my puzzles and writing. The park is big enough that everyone can enjoy it and find a corner for some quiet. Note to visitors: if you are going to feed the ducks and geese, bread is very difficult for them to digest. Peas or grapes are a much better alternative, and they will gobble them right up.

Nice place for a ballooning event. Came to see the balloon-only day (Sunday) of the “NW Art and Air Festival.” Parked at the Elmer’s across the hwy and walked over because I was expecting a traffic jam at the parking lot, but I guess there’s not nearly as much of a crowd as on Saturday, when they couple the balloon launch with a car show and a concert. Could have parked right in the lot, no sweat. No flights that day due to fog, but still beautiful to see inflation and tethered flights in the dawn light. I always forget the balloons are literally bigger than houses and seeing them on the ground is so surreal and wonderful. The relative humdrummery of tethered flights (compared with a mass ascension) also allowed me a longer chat with the crew and pilot for one of my favorite balloons. I learned a lot about some ballooning terms and what it’s like to be on a crew. Looking forward to attending this event and other ballooning agents in OR.
