Wonderful Move‑In Experience Thanks to Tom K. and Mar Moving from California to Chicago in the middle of winter was overwhelming, but Tom K. and Mar, made the entire process surprisingly smooth and stress-free. Because I had to book my apartment virtually, Tom and Mar went above and beyond: * Tom sent detailed videos of the unit and the building so I could get a real sense of the space. * They patiently walked me through every step of the leasing process, answering all my questions—even the ones I didn’t know to ask. * They helped coordinate key pickup with my friend, which was a lifesaver since I couldn’t be there in person. * Their communication was clear, timely, and genuinely supportive, which made a huge difference during such a big cross‑country move. It’s rare to find staff who are this thoughtful, responsive, and proactive. Thanks to them, what could have been a stressful transition felt manageable and even reassuring. If you’re considering moving here—especially from out of state—I highly recommend Top of the Mount Apartments and can’t say enough good things about Tom and Mar.

Top of the Mount Apartments has great the best amenities around and I love the location. There are many new restaurants popping up. The management team there has always been quick to respond. They have gone out of their way to make accommodations and help their residents with any needs. Tom, Mar, and rest of the team have been great!

After touring several nearby apartments and having one disappointing experience after another, leasing with Top of the Mount felt like finally finding water in the desert. Other places made it way harder than it needed to be, but everything here was smooth, professional, and actually welcoming. I’m genuinely so happy I landed at Top of the Mount—it made all those mediocre tours worth it. And the onsite grocery store? Unreal. Once you have it, you’ll wonder how the other places are even competing.

Andrew, Georgia, Jennifer. I've been living here for almost one year and it is great! Staff is very understandable and communicative. I am a manager/Director of Operations myself and I know hard it is to accommodate everybody's needs, but they do an awesome job.
