This park is so nice I appreciate the shelters and how well maintained they are. I've been coming here for over 30years and this place has stayed very preserved. The scenery is gorgeous and the sunsets are priceless. The bathrooms are clean but old and they have no paper towels. Other than that, there are ducks along the waters and I'm sure there are turtles in the lakes. This park has more action in the weekends since the shelters usually get rented out and most have an 80 people capacity. What I love the most about this park is you don't have to rent at a shelter to have access to picnic tables, there's tables scattered along grass areas and I've had small get togethers with canopy's with permission from the office.

Tropical Park is a fantastic spot for a day out! They’ve got a great outdoor gym if you’re into working up a sweat, and the trees and water views make it such a refreshing place to hang out. Plus, it’s a little haven for bird life, so you’ve got some neat nature to enjoy while you’re there. Definitely worth a visit!

Very large, family-focused park, with ball fields, picnic shelters, bathrooms and a couple of ponds. I think they have an area for horses as well. Lots of parking. We were there for an early morning 10k race.

We went to Tropical Park to go to the Christmas Wonderland. I was caught off guard a little bit being from up north. I thought it would be more of a walk-through of the park instead it was a full-fledge carnival. I should have googled it before I went. The carnival was fun however it was super expensive for families. It was $40 for adults in $30 for children. All the rides were included.

I absolutely love this park! I make the 45-minute drive to run on the track every day, but the new schedule has made it challenging to find time. It feels a bit unfair, especially since I've seen the lights for the pickleball courts stay on until 11 PM. It would be great if the track could get more flexible hours to accommodate avid runners like myself.
