Tustin Branch Trail

I love coming to this trail in the early morning before I start my workday because of the beautiful meandering paths of California native plantings from Fairhaven to Warren Avenue along 17th Street. You'll feel calm and focused on your well being and greet friendly community folks along the way! 😍

It's a simple straight trail of about 2 up and 2 miles down, a total of 4 miles. From the start, it heads north and officially ends at Fairhaven. Flat, scenic , quiet, and well traveled by locals. A few rest stops, well-maintained. It's good for walks, jogs, a quick run, for pets. I didn't see any bikers, so I am unaware if they are able to transverse . Parking is official via the street neighborhoods . It's quiet, clean, and peaceful. Good neighborhoods and inviting. Overall score would be 3.5 ish. I would like to see the n Fairhaven portion developed and opened to increase the access to veta park. That would add another mile of access .

Very nice flat trail to run ow walk with your dogs. It smells lovely with all the fresh flowers all around.

It's a good trail for a morning walk or jog. There isn't much to see as you're basically walking through neighborhoods.

The dirt trail has too many small rocks for dogs to walk comfortably. Irresponsible dog owners leave their dogs' feces there daily even though free bags and trash cans are provided. A trash can and bags are needed on 17th Street.
