For years, I've walked the creek in the winter, and Summer My kids love coming here, too. Walking in the water over summer is a nice way to cool off. Most of the creek is shallow. However, there are some deep spots that you can swim in. There are a couple of waterfalls that you can walk up and slide down. During the winter you can walk on the ice. Before you do that, walk it in the summer so you can get a feel for where the deep spots are. You don't want to fall through the ice and get soaked or hurt. Over all it is a very peaceful place to enjoy the water.

Oh, a hidden gem runs the whole route of the water and mostly shaded. This is a lovely hiking trail although Metro Parks needs to come out here and cut some of these dead trees that are hanging over the trail.

One of my favorite hidden treasures right in the middle of the city. Perfect for a short refreshing walk.

Went to the park the other day to see the fall leaves. It's a nice little park to go to for a quick walk. There is a paved trail which is nice and plenty of benches if you need a break or just wanna sit and take in nature.

It’s a beautiful park , I’ve been coming here since a child myself. but the patrol makes it weird I get it it’s there job but the way they lurk around and just stare at your every move makes it uncomfortable. And I’m definitely not rough looking or come off as criminal .Plus the cop on golf cart doing at least 15 mph on the trail while my kids and I were enjoying a walk wasn’t nice at all. It scared my kids. He needs to slow down. Plus I don’t get why “ no dogs are aloud “ that’s a ridiculous rule… beautiful park just try to ignore the cops they’re really annoying and rude !
