What a great rec area! Lots of dog areas for all sizes to run in the enclosed areas. There's a nice playground for the kids with a Pavillion and BBQ grills. I went to do some fishing with the kids and they had a blast. My daughter got a fish on her first cast. Lots of fun since they stock all these local lakes. I showed up around 4 and they were biting!

Went for a dreamlike first date here. We spread out a picnic blanket and basket under a shady tree in the grass by the larger lake and had lunch. There is an unpaved walking path all the way around both lakes with some stretches of grass-only path. Plenty of benches every few hundred feet. We saw a heron, cardinals, and turtles both in the water and on the path. You can't even hear city noise from this area. Quiet and hardly a soul around, even on a Saturday!

Plenty of room to walk, beautiful trails, three sectioned off dog parks, places to fish, barbecue, playgrounds, bathrooms... what more could you want?

Great place for dogs! I like that there is a separate area for small breeds, and there's access to water, for drinking and swimming! There's a good amount of trash bins around, and that helps keep the place clean. We love to bring the pups when the weather permits. 😄 (Btw follow @ChikoAndTheBeans on Instagram for more puppy pics🥰)
