This is a typical Hillsboro park with a mix of picnic areas, recreational sports court, grassy areas, a play structure, swings, and access to a natural creek. Like many others, it has an ADA compliant porta-potty, instead of a functioning restroom with a sink or water or sanitizer. Best amenity here is a year round water fountain for potable drinking water. This might also be a good parking place to start a cycling or walking trip along Johnson School Road, which has a protected cycle track, significant lighting, and a modern sidewalk on both sides.

I went here to explore nearby parks with playgrounds with my daughter. It’s not huge for the playground, but I actually really liked it. I think it would be great if I wasn’t there with kids, or a dog, or a time to sit and read a book on one of the benches.it seems clean and pleasant.

Trails are shabby but decently kept. The forested area is teeming with wildlife. Very scenic walk. There is a playground.

Very well kept. Nice short walking trails. Picnic tables, basketball court, and two play structures. One for littlest and one for bigger kids. Clean portapotty at entrance.

U J Hamby Park has an abundance of trails that cater to various activities such as jogging, running, and walking. It also features a playground for children to enjoy, along with a spacious basketball court and a pavilion. The park is particularly charming during the spring and summer seasons. There are numerous trees in this park, which provides an opportunity to appreciate the splendor of nature. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area.
