Beautiful public space for walking, jogging, and letting the kids run wild. I happened to be there for the first snow storm of the season and it's a wonderland in the snow. I particularly enjoyed the cougar sculpture near the playground. So grab the dog and his leash. He'll love the walk and the smells of ducks, geese, and squirrels. You'll love the fresh air and relative quiet found right in the middle of the city.
This park is well maintained and has a lot of options. There is a nice paved circular trail around the two small bodies of water for your walks and runs. I believe you can fish here with a proper license but it may be catch and release. The park is small but very fun and my toddler burns a lot of energy here. The parks department plants flowers and keeps the larger field area well trimmed. Highly recommend Union Square park!
Nice place. Its small nothing huge but pretty. We took a walk on November 3rd with our dogs. Make sure your dog is on a leash. there is thin ice on the lake, and ducks and squirrels that they love to chaise. Even if your dog is well behaved be careful but the view was nice and they liked the walk. You can sit and read a book is a good place if you live near by.
Great little park nestled between commercial and residential property. It completes a full loop, you just have to walk through some apartments and a couple businesses. Great for the kids, dog and lots of fun. It's no secret though, it can get populated at times.
Lovely park. It's a nice trail to walk, a little bridge. Clean from human litter. It's a typical park
