This is a nice neighborhood dog park. It has separate space for big and small furries. There is also ample street parking and walk paths along the river. The only reason I did not give it a full 5 star is because of all the thorny weeds, especially around the small dog area. Really small dogs can get hurt, so be mindful.

Nice spot, seems clean and friendly... Lots of picnic tables outside the dog area to hangout. We came after it rained so it was pretty dirty, but packed down so not really muddy. My one small complaint is the small dog park seems way bigger than the large dog park... Maybe they get more small dogs? Either way, I'd be back!

This is my regular go to dog park. Have been coming here for years with my 3 dogs. People have been great as well as the dogs . In all the years ive been going Ive only had one issue with a bad dog owner. But spotted her and her aggressive dogs. But i asked a few questions and turned right around and we went to another dog park. She hasn't been back. Any who this a great dog park. Also its right next to the American river walkway

This is one of my favorite dog parks in Sacramento. The entire area is divided in two, allowing smaller breeds to segregate from larger ones. Both sides have sections of dirt and sections of grass, so there's something for even the pickiest pooch. Benches on both sides of the fence add a nice touch. Dog-friendly water fountains are available, and there's a nice park for the kids directly across the street. The only comparable dog park I have found locally is Truitt Bark Park, but the dirt is unforgiving for certain breeds...
