Plenty of parking. Easy access to the Highpoint Greenway and closest point to the board walk and bridges. No bathrooms.

So this is more of a walking trail. its not a park, there are no restrooms, and no trash cans. I stated previously there were no benches, however benches have been added. But its a great place to walk, its very shaded it goes through a neighborhood so it feels safe and everyone is very friendly.

Beautiful setting in which to take a casual stroll and enjoy the abundance of natural splendor. Easily navigable, wide pathway, easy access.

Excellent elevated wide boardwalk through woods and wetlands. Mostly shaded with some areas of sun. Enough incline in spots to make you expend a little extra effort. Two CAUTIONS---It is shared by walkers and bicyclists so keep an open ear for bikes approaching from the rear and for sudden bikes approaching from your front; I urge bicyclists give out a shout or warning as they approach; two, POISON IVY is very widespread on many of the trees that are often only an arm's length out from the railings...be careful where you stop to look out as you may be face to face with massive clusters of the poison. Update May 2023--unfortunately, the creeps and thieves have discovered this place. Make sure you lock your vehicle and secure all valuables out of sight. A family member had her van broken into with wallet and other valuables stolen. Once you cross the bridge, the parking lot is out of sight and you are also out of sight if you need assistance....I'd recommend no solo ladies walk alone on the greenway between Deep River Road and the environmental center.
