Definitely worth a visit. We went near closing time during one of the heat waves (8/6/23), so we had to cut our visit short. When the weather cools down, we look forward to checking out the trails, but on this visit, we parked & walked up the paved path to the top of the hill. Beautiful views of the lake & new developing parts of Winchester. Interesting to see how this whole valley will look in 20 years. Bottom line: free to visit, but closes around 4:00pm.. maybe hours change during different seasons, but not sure. Check it out if you're looking for outdoor things to do.

This park was SO MUCH FUN!! However we were disappointed to find out the splash pad that’s advertised on the website with videos is not there… it’ll be back 2026 summer! But overall, for $10 each kid, my kids had a blast!! And my babies love the splash lagoon area! **parents: as of 6/7/2025 they do not let ANY floaties inside. No arm floaties, no chest floaties! But the lagoon is very shallow and perfect for non swimmers!

Beautiful clear waters and pleasant hiking trails. We visited during the 2019 super bloom and were very impressed with the flowers, however the 10 dollar parking fee in addition to the 3 dollars per person enterance fee seemed a bit high, but still worth it. Don't forget your sunscreen! Can't swim in the lake (it's drinking water) but boats seem to be welcome.
