I was in Boulder today for the first time in a few years and I had my dog with me so I found this place last minute. It was dark, I was hoping there would be some kind of lights, but there was nothing, not the parks fault. I just would’ve loved there to be some kind of lights. Overall, the park was nice, I stumbled upon a disc golf course that looked pretty fun with lots of hills and my dog was having a blast so that’s a huge Plus as well. I’m sure the park is awesome in the daytime as well. From what I saw just from tonight, it’s definitely a place I would visit again, but of course during the daytime

Really wonderful dog park, next to a bike park and across from the disc golf park. It's got plenty of parking, with great pedestrian path access by bike and foot. There is a separate entrance and exit to the dog area, both with transition areas. Once inside, there's lots of space with both greenery and gravel; lots of watering stations, and a decent amount of seating for those caretakers who prefer a more passive approach. Notably, the views of the Flatirons from within the park are fantastic!

It's probably one of the best dog parks in Colorado! This completely fenced-in expansive (several acres) dog park in Valmont City Park has sand and grass, 2 water sources, wading pools, and beautiful views for us humans. It is very well-maintained. There is a separate small dog area. Within the dog park are several semi-fenced circular mini parks with grass and trees for shade and cooling down.

Valmont Dog Park is a great place to take your dog, large or small. They have two small kiddie pools that the dogs can play in or rest in, as well as plenty of dog bowls for drinking. The park is well maintained with dog bags at multiple locations throughout the park to make clean up easy and accessible. There's plenty of shade for you or your dog. They have a separate area for smaller dogs if needed, otherwise they can play in the larger play area. The larger play area has grass and dirt as well as plenty of toys littered about.

I was very impressed with the quality and state of the park. Everyone at the dog park had well behaved dogs, the owners were all friendly and attentive. It was my girl's first time, and she's the biggest weenie, and there were no dogs who were bullying her. I'll definitely be returning.
