The Van Maren Park is beautiful. There were a few kids on their bikes, some on their skateboard and a few famlies were walking with their young children. The park was clean with a few benches spread out so that guests could enjoy the natural beauty.

This is a nice, safe, quiet Park, with with a nice play area for kids including basketball, off to the side. Nice trails and walking area to walk by yourselves or with your dog. No trouble. The best part is the gorgeous wooden bridge that spans from the park to the garden area right behind Costco and Walmart. The bridges really amazing. There's quite a nature preserve there with all kinds of animals, plants and trees. Every year they have a big bang of a celebration for the 4th of July. They just had it last night on the 28th of June so that it would fall on a Saturday. They had at least five food trucks of different sorts. A fantastic live cover band. That was really good. Lots of people. And a great firework show. It's all free except anything you buy from the food trucks of course

Cute little park budding up against a residential area. Has 2 play structures and a covered table area. My kids all enjoy it despite being relatively small.

It's a nice place but sketchy people everywhere got yelled at by a couple for playing fetch with my dog.shebrwn around them with a ball in her mouth and they yelled at me to take control of my dog!
