Has a layout like your first time trying create-a-level on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Random stuff everywhere all out of proportion. The only saving grace is the bowl. The park itself is gated and only opens at 3:30pm on weekdays, and from midday at weekends. Do yourself a favour and drive 5 minutes west to Normandale skatepark instead. #cementurians #1000skateparkchallenge

Fenced off skate park with limited hours of operation. Old construction with some crazy down rails and ledges.

This seems like something to the city didn’t want but they wanted to be inclusive, I mean this skate park just looks trash respectfully, the hours are terribly placed almost as worse as the make of the skate park itself, I mean you mind as well go anywhere but here bruh rebuild this Carson, yall have too much money… cmon and don’t even get me started on the outdated flooring probably shaking hands with rocks and pebbles, no thank you

The park was busy, big, and has a lot of different options for different sports/activities. The skatepark itself was empty when I was there. It has nice bowl with a nice extension. Has decent transition, and was able to flow around the park. It has awkwardly sized obstacles, but I see it as a good thing. Not all skateparks are meant to be copies of each other. It allows for progression, which is always a good thing.

The skatepark seems to be locked most of the day most of the time, unlike tennis and basketball courts. There is only 1 single skatepark in the City of Carson, and it seems to not have the same treatment as other sports. It's upsetting to see that they only open it in the afternoons during the week and closes by 6pm on the weekends. The city of Carson should open the Gates to all activities at the same time.
