I loved it! It's gorgeous, it's well taken care of, it's clean, and there are a bunch of different trails to explore! It has a little flora center and trail where you can learn about native plants, and cool tidbits about planets. I loved the monument; what it stands for, how much information was provided, and the way it was intentionally created. Really really RAD ART!!! 🤩🥰 There's a lot of parking, and it's a nice fishing hole!

very peaceful and so many trails to choose from … all easy! there were people fishing today, but I didn’t see them catching anything lol but nice collection of ducks! Plus, they have the nature center there. That’s really interesting has some great displays.

The Veterans Oasis park has different walking trails, offers a lake for fishing, several benches for bird-watching, large covered ramadas, the Chandler Nature Center (Chandler Native Plant Oasis), and much more. Offers different signs to learn about wildlife and how to be safe. I came in early morning in mid-October and the weather was amazing. In the morning it was about 60 degrees. The park was active: people walking the trails, fishing, several people walking their dogs and there was a group of people with their dogs getting dog training classes. The park still offers plenty of space to enjoy your time outdoors.

Beautiful local park with nicely groomed trails- both concrete and dirt. The military tribute is very heartwarming. I was traveling solo and felt very safe.

After hiking in Sedona and Saguaro I didn’t have high hopes for a local community park, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a hidden gem in the middle of the city with lots of wildlife, flowers, plants and trees. If you decide to take this walk, don’t just stick to the outside as it’s mapped out in All Trails. If you cut in and take the inside paths, you will see a lot more wildlife. We saw rabbits, squirrels, roadrunners, an owl, and other smaller bird species.
