Veterans Park

Beautiful walking track! Gorgeous area. I go to church here actually..... Is that is that may sound and anybody reading this LOL... So, there's a church that meets here called "Park View Church" and we meet on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. at one of The pavilions here at veterans park. And it'll last for about 10 to 12:00 or 12:30 or so and it's a lot of fun really laid back a lot of the kids will bring fishing poles and balls to kick around and footballs and there's a park here so, we normally get there and eat some donuts and stuff beforehand and then kind of get together and then under one of The pavilions we normally have like a little church gathering where will sing songs and say some prayers and then we'll break up a little group and study the Bible together, but it's not anything where one person is standing up and preaching, brother will break up into little groups of maybe seven people per group or so something like that, and we'll get together and just break up in two or three groups depending on how many people are there and then we'll just study some scripture together and then try to see how I can apply to our lives. It's wonderful because it's a beautiful setting and a beautiful area, it's outdoors so it's under pavilion so you're protected from the weather, it's really nice really fun really beautiful here and then whenever we finish the kids go play and it's just really a great time. This is a great area, wonderful time wonderful area beautiful!!! But thank you for the people who overlook Veterans Park because you've done an amazing job you've given us a wonderful place for the kids to play safely, the police patrol they're pretty often, it's a great area beautiful hike, beautiful little lake, it really is something special so if you have not had an opportunity to get out here you want to take the opportunity. We'd love for you to show up at 10:00 on a Sunday and worship with us and congregate and see what we can learn about God together.

It has a nice playground for kids. A fitness court. Small lake with catch and release fishing. Pond with fish, turtles, red wing blackbirds and other bird life. Cross through the underpass under Jaguar Drive and you get to some nice long trails that run beside creeks.

What a lovely local park! Have driven past for years but finally visited on a nice Saturday for a bit of a picnic. Two ponds, lengthy trails, big playground, pickle ball and beach volleyball courts, a couple public restrooms, and three major picnic pavilions. We plan on being back many times!

I went there my first time for the Suicide Walk Out of the Darkness. I'm so glad they host this event there. Its a very nice place. It was extremely emotional seeing all the shoes and flags lined up. I hope they continue to do this every year. I will definitely be attending. I love you Tyler Swindle forever 17 aka TyTy... Until we meet again.

Beautiful park! Wide open grassy spaces, running trails, small lakes, shaded picnic tables & benches and lots of playground equipment. Disability friendly playground equipment as well. Great spot for dog walking or some exercise! Area felt very safe and plenty of parking available.
