Super cool little neighborhood park, playground, and pond! The playground was mostly shaded and was modern equipment. Had three different slides and five different creative ways to climb up to the second level. Our three-year-old really enjoyed himself here! 😁👍👍 They also had a large pond with a dock and paved pathways all the way around it! Very nice park area with flags and also another memorial area honoring those who died in 9/11. Very well done. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍
Being here was one of the best days I had this year! The pond is beautiful and watching the turtles all day was so calming. We took an one hour walk around the park and the neighborhoods around it and it is just beautiful! Totally worth going!
Nice place for a short walk or sitting on a bench by the pond. Small playground for the kids and a picnic pavilion that can be reserved through the town of Holly Springs. The greenway that goes around the pond extends all the way to Sunset Lake road. In the other direction there is a disc course and another pond (we call it turtle pond) and another bigger playground.
Was in a bad place and a bit of a crossroads in my life, stopped by, and found this little wooden cross on the water deck area..then walked around to the memorial area, thanked my father for his service in the Korean War and wished my friends well, who didn't come home from the Afghanistan War, I don't pray much,, but prayed for all those in Ukraine and also for the Russians, War is Hell, decided to leave the cross, for the next one..looking for hope 🙏and direction..Cheers 🍻 to all my brothers and sisters...fighting a fight..live long for your family and kids.
It honestly has some nice fish in it if you are planning on fishin there. It is in my opinion a very good place to learn how to fish and to teach how to fish. My main complaints are all of the trees, that there aren't many options on where to fish, all of the turtles, and the large amounts of debris on and under the water. The memorial is very nice and it is nice to know that the people who have died for this country are still remembered.
