It’s a quiet place. It has a men’s restroom. Stinks, but the toilet does work. I saw two other people here. One was walking a dog and had on a mask. Nobody bothered me for not wearing one. The water in the pond is clear and relatively clean.

We went have a picnic and ate McDonalds and KFC since it's closer and enjoy the fresh brezze,it wasn't hot and it was a beautiful day,had no one there, just kinda creepy when people sitting in their VECHICLES and you don't know who sitting in there watching you,it be mostly guys in different VECHICLES,most women go bring their kids or grandkids, not often Grandpa's out there with kids! So just be careful bc you hv to keep your eyes on them always, the parking area is right in front the playground, and thersis an apartment building facing you as you sit and eat, just so easy access to kids,so don't go taking walks, leaving your kids to play,it seems like a nice environment, but people is in and out quick!🙏🏽🫶💜Enjoy,be safe!

Great little pocket park in Lafayette, beautiful veterans memorials and playground equipment for the kids. Saw lots of people pulling in to eat their lunch here. Outhouses here

Clean park with lots of trees, a nice playground for kids, and a beautiful pond with fish. Well kept up with and water is very clean.

Well, this park was okay. It's got a nice pond with a little deck. Very small park but has restrooms(dirty), playground equipment (outdated), small pavilions, and plenty of tree shade. The bf and I did some yoga here. The ducks were cute. However, I got creeped out by a guy driving a tow truck who parked here. He was pacing waiting for someone and asked where I was from. I didn't make so much convo so he walked away. Then another visitor in her car came to tell me he was staring at me. Ahe said he looked like he touched himself. Then another shirtless guy came up to my boyfriend and I saying that the tow truck guy was his friend and a druggie. He was supposedly letting his sick mom stay at his place but that the tow truck guy keeps falling off the wagon. He didn't like that the tow truck guy was talking to some girl and her mom. Anyway, he also said the pond was a sewage pond and there was no fish. He's never seen a fish caught.
