It's an excellent place for dogs. They have a fenced in area for large and small dogs. Both areas have a water source and pools for the dogs. Balls and toys were provided on the ground from other people. Plenty of people seating in the form of benches. Secure area that requires a key fob for access.

There is a large group of dogs that frequent the park everyday. A couple of the dogs are very aggressive towards other dogs. I have watched them chase and growl at other dogs (mine included). I will not be going back after a dog attacked my puppy just for coming up to me.

In December of 2024 several members reported aggressive dogs and their behaviors. After this a meeting was held where the “big dog clique” bullied other members directly in front of our non supportive president. Don’t go to this park after 5 pm for your dogs safety. Just in the last month I have had friends tell me of their dogs being chased down outside of the gates by an unleashed dog, at least 4 and my dog was victim to this once. Just yesterday several dogs rushed after one dog. The owners don’t care and always respond with… “they haven’t hurt anyone”. As for the president, he needs to be replaced. His work it out attitude has caused problems all around. The “park liaison” is in the clique and very unprofessional. I am traumatized from my time here.

This park is part of the Louisville dog run association. All their parks require a key fob for entrance. I always get this for my dogs. Its less than 50 bucks. Some need repairs but im sure now spring is here this will change.

DON’T take your dog to this park!!! My dog was attacked inside the park today by an unaltered husky.
