This park has a little bit of everything, a baseball field, handball court, playground, plenty of picnic tables, and even a horseshoe area. The open fields are perfect for a casual game of soccer or tossing a frisbee around, and there’s lots of space to spread out for a picnic or just relax in the sun. However, during my visit, I noticed a fair amount of litter around the park. Beer bottles were left on benches near the playground, and there was even cake frosting on some of the slides. It took away from what could otherwise be a really great experience.

upon arrival at this park i immediately noticed that it was pretty clean and orderly. there was a baseball field along with basketball and handball courts to play on as well. the restroom was closed during my visit but it was fine. i'd like to return and spend some family time on the weekend because of the good amount of shade the trees provide.

There is a TON of sand wasps!! They aren’t necessarily aggressive but they swarm all around you crazily and I’m not taking my chances with little kids!
