Nice trail with some shade along the trails. The only thing that would be nice is a sign near the trailheads on distance and which trailhead you are heading to. There is north and south, assuming one is holes 1-9 and the other is 10-18. Bathrooms are amazingly nice and clean.

This used to be Vistoso Golf Course, but it closed down and town of Oro Valley renamed it a nature trail to use the golf paths for walkers. One can still see the links markers, but otherwise the grass from the tee boxes, fairways, and greens have all been torn out, and the water hazards dried up. That's not unusual for an abandoned golf course, but the trees and other landscaping have not been maintained, and the pathway has mud and debris. For a city walkway or "nature preserve", it's not well kept. Even the restrooms are locked and the entrance appears forgotten.

Two 3 mile loops. Meander between houses. Nice paved path. Was an old golf course. Nice area. People walk, bike and bring their dogs. The single loop takes a little over an hour at a brisk pace.

Great trail for walking, jogging, and biking. Full concrete path that was a prior golf cart path, total of 6.0 miles for the full route. Path has two loops that connect together. Beautiful views and has 3 under passes that help avoid unnecessary road crossings. Wildlife often seen in mornings and early dusk.

An enjoyable trail and nature area in transition from a golf course so the main paths are cement and good for biking or strollers. Many places you can run on soft surfaces alongside or near the path. We saw some beautiful finches (see photos) and an impressive Sonoran landscape with spectacular views of the area mountains. It is still being improved so we'll see...
