I love visiting Wade Walker since we moved to Stone Mountain, it's maintained well and has several shady trails for my dog and I to enjoy and a filtered water fountain that was super refreshing but no longer in service. I have had instances where dogs that have been dumped chased us but animal control responded fairly quickly to that as well, people do what they do best almost every weekend (make messes and ruin good things) but I feel the crew picks up after quite nicely. I wish drivers would slow down specifically those minivans 😂 and allow people to use crosswalks appropriately instead of continuing to drive (getting the kid to soccer practice isn't life or death but me ending up under your vehicle is) also can you please keep your rowdy dogs on leashes? Not too much of an ask but oh I don't know State law?

Everything is very good like the soccer fiends and the playground, but the bathrooms are horrible. There was poop on the floor and the toilet couldn't flush

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wade-Walker Park is a beautiful spot for a family outing or to host a community event. My nonprofit organization holds an annual remembrance event here every October in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. The process to reserve the pavilion is simple and straightforward, which makes planning much easier. The only suggestion I would make is that, because the pavilion is open, spectators can walk through during an event — something to keep in mind when planning. The restrooms haven’t always worked either and the YMCA staff won’t let you use the restroom if you aren’t a YMCA member 😳 Overall, it’s a great location, and I’ll be hosting my next remembrance event here this October.
