This dog park is one of our favorites in the cities. It’s clean and they have water fountains for the dogs in the summer. All of the other owners tend to pick up their dog poop and watch over their animals. The land is really well cared for. They have a little agility spot with a ramp, tunnel, and jumps. There is a couple small wooded areas and a large walking trail that goes all the way around the property. My dogs love it and we’ve never had any troubles there.

The Cottage Grove WAG Farms dog park is really quite a great dog park to take your four legged friend to. The dog park is quite spacious and large. The entire dog park is fenced in. The park is not entirely flat and features a bit of rolling hills. There is a good amount of trees around the park. There is some dog agility types of structures that your dog can climb around on. There's a little pond on the back side that is outside of the fenced in area that almost always has ducks or other birds to watch. It is never too busy, which is nice.

Very nice place and it’s huge. Only issues I have is the small dog area is too small, I wish it were bigger so my puppy could have more space like it has on the other side. I did bring my puppy over there but there were 2 slightly aggressive dogs ganging up on her. Not sure why you would bring your aggressive dog to a dog park. Oh and the small dog area needs those agility things too. I didn’t get a chance to have my puppy try them out since the aggressive dogs were all over her.

I like this park and was having a nice time with our two small dogs, until some man claiming to be the founder of the park came up to us and said that the park did not allow dogs to be on-leash. Are you kidding me? We keep our 5lb dog on leash to protect her and other dogs because she is a barker. And don't tell me to use the "small dog area" where there are no trails, few trails, and small. Ridiculous that this person thinks they own the park. Last time I checked it's public property and I WILL keep my dog on leash whenever I want to.

Definitely a nice dog park which does have a water fountain. We were there during the day so I cant say much about the lighting in the parking lot but it looks like they're building a new light pole. Otherwise park was nice and big.
