Sad place for a dog park. No grass, small. Pretty crappy. Would not go here again . Plus, no dogs were even there so defeated the purpose . Stick to City Park Dog Park!

Small, but has shaded area with tables for sitting while your dog plays.

Nice small park. Advantage is it is close enough for a spontaneous excursion. The downside is there is no separate small dog area, grass suffers in the harsh high plains desert climate. But dog owners are some of the best people to chat with, so you will never have a bad day at the dog park.

I’m not sure what I expected but it wasn’t a little penned area with no grass. it looks like someone put a dog area together in the back parking lot of the Park & Rec office in two days and self-proclaimed that it’s a suitable dog park for Pueblo. this has a closer resemblance to an off-the-highway area where you would take your dog to pee on a long road trip rather than a stereotypical dog park where one has actual room to run that’s also maintained. in that same outing, my husband, pup, and I learned that you’re better off taking your dog to nearby parks for exercise and socializing!

I feel like this is a great little dog park. I did notice several people not picking up after their pets. It is bring your own water. My only hope is that the town takes care of what little grass is in the dog park. I find too often that when the town doesn’t take care of them, they turn into large dirt play area. My dog loves to run and play in the grass, that is what will keep us coming back.
