Shhhh, it's a secret pocket park. Wagner Park is a hidden gem. The neighbors have grown closer though the years and it's not unusual to see everyone out celebrating a birthday or letting the dogs run around. The neighborhood worked hard to get official park status and to get a grant for the park benches and trees. It's really quite wonderful. Just a simple neighborhood secret.
My paternal grandmother lived just a few blocks away... @ least half a century in & about "Das Heights." Just learned about this park today. For 25? years she was a live-in nanny in River Oaks... employed by folks that were basis for a made-for-TV movie.
Quaint park. Small. Near a trail and a Kroger.
Small, alot of poop, and everyone has dogs off leash
