Greetings! This pharmacy has always been very slow no matter what time you go there. Yesterday 11/22/25 my husband waited 15-20 mins to drop off a prescription. After 4 hours I called and they said it was ready. Unfortunately when my husband gets there and stands in a line they tell him it’s not ready. He comes home , and I just had dental surgery at 9:00am , it’s now 4:00. I was in pain. I then call at 5:30 and they said it would be ready soon. At approximately 6:00 it was ready. Once again he had to stand in line to pick it up. This is unacceptable. I think there should be a drop off your prescription. Why is there 1 line for drop off prescription/Pick up??? I understand you’re busy but a manager needs to figure out a way to run this department better. I will find another pharmacy, this pharmacy has been this way for a long time. Good Luck

The people who work at this place are very polite and professional. I was in this place tonight with my kids. My son had an ear infection,he was crying and in 10 minutes everything was ready. The line was not so long, but I had a chance to observe another customer's, all pharmacy technicians was very professional and helpful. Excellent job!!!

This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. I was told twice that my prescription was ready, and both times I went there to pick it up only to be told it wasn’t ready. No communication, no accountability. When you call, they place you on hold forever, transfer you to multiple people, and you end up repeating your story over and over again with no actual help. No one seems to know what’s going on or can give a straight answer. The service is unorganized, frustrating, and completely unreliable. I would not recommend this Walgreens pharmacy to anyone.

I’m a medical assistant at an urgent care I have been on hold for 20 minutes waiting to speak with the pharmacist. The pharmacist has gone off hold to rapidly say “hello” then go immediately to put me back on hold before letting me respond. I have a video of this and it’s honestly so annoying the customer service is horrible

I wish I could give this pharmacy a zero. This is by far the worst pharmacy in Perth Amboy. I came to pick up a prescription. They said they were going to call me when ready and they never did. When I came to pick it up they did it wrong and I had to wait 1 more hours for they to fix it. I came back today, 11/20/25 and I’ve been waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes for something simple. The employee are very rude.
