Really nice dog park. Lots of nice people. It was really nice that it was accessible when the other dog park was closed because of rain. Its a little nerve racking for a new dog owner to not have fencing. But the other dogs kept her interested and she didn't run off. One less star because there was no water source for the dogs. a simple water fountain or spigot would have been nice. One more less star because there were no benches or wall or anything to sit on. My old bones need rest. I would have to leave the field to sit on the picnic table. And the nearness of the very busy tennis courts made my young dog a little jumpy and distracted.

Very beautiful and peaceful dog park. I was more interested with the tennis and pickleball court near by.

All dog parks are fantastic, and I'm so glad Davis has so many of them, Walnut Park is an open field which makes it feel very open and large than it actually is which nice, but because it is unfenced if you have a dog that likes to wonder this might not be the place for you and you should give Toad Hollow the dog park across the bridge a chance. All though there is no direct water source the community does fill up water jugs, so there is normally plenty of water for your pup. Also, it's right next to the city tennis courts, so there are always tennis balls around to play with!

This park does not have a fence to contain dogs. Please make sure your dog has good recall or is leashed. Large park with lots of grass and well attended. One of the better ones I've been to.

Tried out a new dog park. Brett had a great time playing with a Portuguese Water Dog and a hunting dog. Park was clean, quiet and relaxing. Many trail options to choose from.
