5/5 for amazing doggy playground 3.5/5 can use a restroom facilities for children's playground and trails 3.5 to 4/5 for people friendliness (depends on owners) A lot of the dog owners are amazing and kind people. I have been going there for roughly a month with my dog (6.5 month old) for socializing and training; getting advice/ tips from fellow dog owners/ walkers on how to train my puppy since she is my first energetic puppy. But there is this eldery lady comes in with her dog and uses a ski stick to help balance her walk, who was extremely rude and disrespectful towards me and my energetic puppy off the bat when I'm frequently there. I totally understand that she doesn't that she doesn't want dogs jumping on her but she keeps on threatening my dog (6.5 months) specifically with hitting my puppy with her ski stick even though I'm training her to not jump and has some progress with some help with the help of fellow owners and dog walkers who were there. She nearly stuck my pup but I shouted at her before she did anything. I try my best that my dog says away from her and get her to play with other dogs but she likes to socialize with other dogs and people when they walk it. Some dog owners saw she was being extremely rude and yelled at me that she's gonna get hurt when she's sitting on the bench and they sided with me and they were confused why she's there in the first place and hopes she realizes that the park is for all ages of life. She has given me no respect and was rude telling me how she has gotten hurt there twice before and yet she stills comes back to the enclosed dog area. She just sits there with her dog and watches the dogs. I've been talking to some of the owners and dog walkers who are there to get advice for training and it had been helpful for our training. The lady has been extremely rude towards the dog walkers previously when they were getting ready to leave with there dogs on hooking them up near the fence when they were rounding up the dogs from what one of them told me and told her to give them sometime when she was using the fence to keep her balance. She told me that my own dog and I should not be at a dog park if she continues to jump. I'm just a bit confused on why she would say that to me when it's for the public and that dogs of all ages are welcomed as long they are up to date with their vaccines and why she has to choose the dog area to sit with her dog when the entire park has benches to sit. I kinda feel wronged in a way. I just wished she was nicer about it and talked with some human decency. My opinion is that she is a very unlikeable person when she's there. Ever since I've been coming here, I've noticed that all the dog owners/walkers would conversate with each other about 8/10 times but never with the elderly lady. There's times when all the dogs are playing they don't see where you are standing in the area when they are playing with each other they will over look you by accident and can knock or it you down on your legs when they are having fun. I've gotten it a couple of times when they were playing but I knew they were having an amazing time playing with each other. Just always check your surroundings, you can never be to safe or cautious since it can happen at anytime unexpectedly.

Go there 5 times aweek. Totally fenced in with professional and friendly dog walkers as well as independent owners. The dogs all play together and with toys. I love this park!

So many great places to pee! And the other dogs were so friendly. I thought some of the dog parents were sus, but they turned out alright in the end. We talked about flea and where to get the freshest kibble. Spoiler alert, it's not at Costco. Oh yeah the is also Apple dog water here. In fact, we got sprayed by the sprinklers. Ya think they would turn those on at night when no one is around.

Do you have a small dog? If yes, you should definitely check out Walter Hass! Fenced in small dog park! Lots of cute, small friendly dogs. BRING POOP BAGS AND A JACKET! This park is often windy and cold! No free poop bags unlike the Mission Bay dog park. I find that the best time to go is 11-12 or an hour before sunset. Parking is easy!

Love this dog park! It's a good size and is in a nice area. I like that it has fake grass because it keeps the park (and my dog) clean.
