Lovely little park for the middle of a big city! Lots of cool birds, some cool trails, and a playground. There are some sketchy areas in the back, and the bathrooms close really early, but all and all its pretty sweet.

I really liked this park. It has a nice concrete path around the lake. It is wide enough for two people to walk or run comfortably. There are quite a few benches in the park, many of which are always in the shade, even in the middle of a sunny day. There is also a playground, public toilets, and several parking lots.

Tranquil and diverse city park with a large lake, plenty of walking trails, and green spaces. There are also dog parks, including an off-the-leash area. The lake has a large quantity of waterfowl and lily pads around the edges. Fishing appears to be permitted. On the weekday evening I visited, there was a good mix of families, dog walkers, singles, elderly couples, etc. Visit the trails through the wetlands at the back of the park that includes a secluded, narrow elevated boardwalk.

I've been coming to Wapato Park my whole life! Some of my first memories where feeding the ducks with my grandma and picnics in the summer. Love seeing how nice they keep it and how many people that come to walk the park take their dogs to play and just all around nice place to go ! I wish I had my littles with me when I took this video! I will be bringing them to play very soon
