Washington Ave Dog Park is a great spot if you’re looking for space and a nice mix of sun and shade. The park is big, with beautiful trees lining the perimeter, which gives you plenty of shade around the edges, while the center stays open and sunny. It’s perfect for dogs that love to run and play in wide open space. There are more rocks than I’d prefer and not quite enough grass, so it could definitely use a little more greenery. Still, the dogs don’t seem to mind at all and they have a great time running around. Overall, the park is clean, well kept, and a really nice place to bring your dog to get some exercise and socialize. I’d happily come back.

Great path to walk around the park. Only wish it was larger and more grass
The water fountain is nice for the dogs to cool off, but the park is always dirty and it doesn’t look like anyone really takes care of it.
