Very sketchy area under an overpass. There was a small homeless camp across the street. Very cold (in the mental and emotional sense) feeling. I met a nice couple there, but their dog was a bit fearful and kept barking at my mom's dog (it wasn't a playful bark). It may be better in the summer or spring as far as more dogs being there, but I would never go back.

Great place, there is always dog bags here, everybody cleans up after their dogs, almost always dogs there, there is a drinking bowl for the dogs with a spout, rarely is there bad dogs, there's 2 tables, and it's completely fenced in.

It's depressing here, not a great atmosphere, my dog literally walked me to the gate to leave within 5 minutes of being here.

We were visiting Eugene for a couple of days and we’re looking forward to hanging out in this dog park. We have a whippet and she loves to run and fetch the ball. When we approach the park, we met a couple: a plump woman with short blonde hair and skinny, gray haired guy who had two dogs with them: Rottweiler and a husky. She immediately told us that her dog was extremely friendly. When we entered the area and let our dogs off leash we started throwing the ball to play with our dog. The Rottweiler grabbed the ball as she was chasing it and when I asked the owner to give us the ball back, she said that she’s going to try, but it’s not going to happen. She then proceeded to tell us “this is why you don’t bring toys to dog park”. We quickly realized that she had no control over her dog. She also told us that he had resource defense so he is likely to attack us or our dog if we try to retrieve the ball. The entire time she took NO accountability and was trying to blame us for hers and her dog behavior. We left because we didn’t want to endanger ourselves or our dog. Try to avoid the park if you see her and her dogs if you don’t want to deal with a similar situation.
