This is a great park! I was a visitor and absolutely thrilled that park was open and clean! The little dog part has pure grass with some fun obstacles and water and toys and the larger dogs part has the same but its huuuuge and has some trees and rocky terrain, as well as grass. The dogs loved it!

It’s one big sheet of ice during the colder months and they don’t sand it or salt it of course so bring your crampons if you wanna walk your dog on a leash to the dog park from your car. But aside from that, it has cool features and in the warmer months they have running water for the dogs at the pup pub and there’s plenty of room for running full speed and burning off lots of energy. Lots of other dogs to play with in the late afternoon, but usually pretty secluded during the daytime.

Large park with natural shade from trees. Dirt and smooth gravel for ground cover. Various obstacles, spigot for water, trash and bags provided. Separate sections for large and small dogs. Overall it was a really nice park.

It's great to have this park and under the current volunteer management, it is becoming even better! It's very well maintained by local volunteers and donations. In the past I've experienced that some pet owners seem to come to socialize themselves and did not keep very good watch over their dog(s) and some issues arose, which can still happen, no matter where you are since not all dogs get along. If you're not sure how your dog will play with others, I recommend starting off when there are not a lot of dogs there and warning those already there (as well as those who come) of this fact. I bring different dogs here all the time and have never had any major issues. (I'm a petsitter. I'm not just randomly picking up dogs and bringing them to the dog park... though, I'm sure the random dogs would love it! 😁🤣🐩🐾🐕

Wonderful park! Trees for shade , a water station, gravel and grass, toys and tennis balls, poop bag stations, chairs to sit ,and it is next to the river ! It was a rainy day so had some big but not deep water puddles so of course bella had to lay in one ! Bella enjoyed it and we will be returning!
